A ProCamera Year-End Update Packed with Pro Power for Photo and Video

Video pros get a streamlined setup and new high-end formats, while photo enthusiasts gain a powerful external-drive workflow for their iPhone.

AIRPODS HIGH QUALITY AUDIO

When filming, record clear voice audio with Apple AirPods acting as a wireless lav microphone. Ideal for vlogging, interviews, and all kinds of mobile, hands free-setups.

To use Bluetooth headphones as a microphone, make sure they’re connected to your iPhone, then switch to Video mode in ProCamera and enable Bluetooth in the Control Panel. Once selected as the external microphone, a Bluetooth icon is displayed in the Video Info Panel. To stop using AirPods as the microphone, simply disable Bluetooth in the Control Panel.

ProCamera with AirPods as Bluetooth Microphone

Note 1: This feature is currently not available in the EU due to factors beyond our control.

Note 2: To record spatial audio with the built-in microphones of modern iPhones, turn off Bluetooth. The “Spatial” option will then appear in Audio Mode in Control Center.

Connecting an external drive to ProCamera via USB-C

IMPROVED EXTERNAL STORAGE SUPPORT

ProCamera offers powerful ways to work with external drives:

  • Browse photos and videos saved to external drives on your iPhone and iPad. You can even inspect the metadata and delete external files.
  • Import and share media straight from an external drive. Bring files in from a USB drive or the SD card of your dedicated camera, edit them in ProCamera, and send them instantly via AirDrop, Mail, social media, and more (premium feature).
  • Capture new shots directly to external storage (premium feature).

Save externally:

To save new captures to an external drive, simply swipe up from the thumbnail image, tap the “+” button and select “Add External Directory” (see screenshot).

Saving new photos and videos to an external drive

PRORES RAW

Step into serious high-end video production: With ProRes RAW in ProCamera‘s Video mode, you gain maximum flexibility for color grading and post-production.

The new streamlined Control Panel lets you switch to ProRes RAW directly on the capture screen.

ProCamera ProRes RAW Video - Control Panel

ProRes RAW – Key benefits:

  • Visually lossless
  • Highest image quality of all ProRes versions
  • Preserves full dynamic range and wide color gamut for HDR workflows
  • Available in combination with LOG and LOG 2 color format
  • Allows faster and more flexible adjustments (exposure, white balance,…) in post-production

Special requirements:

  • Available on iPhone 17 Pro (Max)
  • Requires fast, external storage (USB-C drive, SD card with adapter,…)
  • Always captures in cinema-style 4224 × 2240 pixels resolution (higher than the regular 4K UHD resolution which records at 3840 × 2160 px)
  • Doesn’t support digital zoom – but supports all three rear-facing lenses (0.5x, 1x, 4x)

LOG 2 VIDEO RECORDINGS

In addition to Log video recording, ProCamera now also supports Apple Log 2 when filming in ProRes and ProRes RAW. Both Log profiles capture greater dynamic range and offer expanded grading flexibility, while Log 2 preserves even more highlight and shadow detail for demanding HDR and professional workflows.

Note: Requires iPhone 17 Pro (Max).

WINDOWED APP SUPPORT

On iPadOS 26, ProCamera now supports windowed multitasking. Freely resize ProCamera from full screen to compact window for a more flexible, desktop-style workflow.
To activate free-floating windows on iPadOS 26, go to iPad Settings > Multitasking & Gestures and select “Windowed Apps” (the option for the classic behavior which doesn’t allow resizing is called “Full Screen Apps”).

Turning Paintings into High-Resolution Prints with ProCamera

With your smartphone camera, pigments can become pixels — and artist and designer Lance Hewison reveals how.

Lance Hewison working in the studio

Lance Hewison is an American-German artist and designer. Known for his atmospheric paintings in Prussian blue, he recently launched a new online shop offering high-resolution giclée prints of his works.

Since he didn’t have access to a fully equipped professional photo studio, Lance turned to ProCamera to photograph his works at home using just an iPhone, a gray card, and two LED lights.

INTERVIEW

ProCamera: It’s always a pleasure for us to see ProCamera in action — especially where professional photography and art meet. Lance, tell us about your new series Into the Blue and how ProCamera became an essential tool in the process.

Lance: Into the Blue is a collection of paintings in Prussian blue. It is inspired by classic analog photography and the sea. Each work is meant to feel timeless and at the same time dreamlike. Using ProCamera and the iPhone, I then ‘digitized’ my paintings and now offer them as high-quality prints in my online shop.

Lance painting in the studio

ProCamera: What were the challenges you faced when photographing your artworks?

Lance: Definitely light and color accuracy. I wanted my shades of blue to appear neither dull nor too warm. My goal was to reproduce the colors and character of my paintings as faithfully as possible. Without a photo studio of my own, I worked with what I had: an iPhone, a tripod, two LED panels, and of course, ProCamera.

Lance Photo Equipment

ProCamera: How did ProCamera help you when photographing your artworks?

Lance: I didn’t want to leave anything to chance and needed full control over white balance and exposure. Other advantages of ProCamera were the ability to shoot in ProRAW format, which allowed me to work with extra precision in post-processing, as well as the option to calibrate colors using a gray card.

ProCamera: What advice would you give to fellow artists looking to capture their artworks on their own?

Lance: This is the setup I found most helpful:

  • Use bright but diffused light (LED lamps with a soft box attached, or alternatively window light on an overcast day)

  • Align the camera as parallel as possible to the artwork to avoid perspective distortion

  • Avoid flash to prevent unwanted reflections

  • Set white balance manually for accurate color reproduction (ideally via gray card calibration)

  • Shoot in ProRAW or classic RAW format for maximum control in post-processing

  • Use a stable tripod to avoid camera shake

  • Use a remote shutter release (e.g. EarPods or Bluetooth headset) or the self-timer with a short delay to avoid shake from tapping the screen

  • Edit photos carefully until they come as close as possible to the painting. I mainly adjust temperature, contrast, blacks, and sharpness.

Lance Studio Light Setup

Another practical tip is to place the already mentioned gray card visibly right next to the canvas when photographing. This provides a reliable reference during post-processing. In programs like Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop, a single click with the white balance tool (eyedropper) on the gray card is enough to automatically correct color temperature and color cast. This way, the previously manually set white balance can be checked and fine-tuned, ensuring consistent and highly accurate color reproduction.

ProCamera: Does the photo have to be an exact reproduction of the artwork?

Lance: An exciting question! For high-quality prints, accuracy and proper preparation are crucial, yet I also see the photographs as independent representations of my works. They need to appear realistic and inviting. Sometimes that means slightly brightening the image or increasing the contrast to capture the effect of gallery lighting.

Lance, thank you for giving us an insight into your current series and working process. For everyone who also feels inspired by the motifs, it is now possible to order your favorite piece in the preferred edition at www.lancehewison.com.

Finally—An HDR Workflow That Works

A Guide for Filmmakers, Content Creators, and Video Pros using ProCamera for iPhone, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro

HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography and video can be incredibly rewarding, but also challenging to work with at times. While the payoff is huge, getting consistent results when working with HDR takes a dependable workflow. The good news? There is one, and we’re going to share it with you here! We’ll break down a reliable process for importing, editing, and exporting HDR photos and videos using ProCamera, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro. We’ve gone through the trial and error phase so you don’t have to. The concepts outlined below also apply if you’re using DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or other video editing software.

HDR is still relatively new territory, and not everyone has an HDR-capable screen—so it’s understandable that this topic can feel a bit nebulous. As support for HDR continues to grow across devices and platforms, the workflow will likely become more streamlined in the near future.

Capturing HDR Video with ProCamera

Make sure HDR Video is enabled in ProCamera before you start filming. It’s usually on by default, but it’s worth double-checking so you know exactly where the setting is when you need it. iPhone 12 and up can record in HDR.

  • Install ProCamera: Download from the App Store
  • Open ProCamera
  • Tap Control Panel (9 dot icon) > Settings > Video Quality > Advanced Settings
  • Make sure HDR Video (10 bit) is enabled
  • Adjust additional settings if needed: Compression, ProRes Codec, or Log Profile
Make sure HDR is enabled in ProCamera

Importing HDR Video in Premiere Pro

To show off your beautiful HDR content, it’s important to get your settings right during the import, editing, and export process. One of the most common problems at this stage is that the footage may not even show up as HDR at all—either due to incorrect import settings, missing metadata, or an export format that strips away the HDR information. Whether you’re working with photos or videos, a few small missteps can lead to a big headache. But don’t worry—we’ll walk through the key steps to make sure your edits preserve the full HDR impact.

  • Open Premiere Pro and create a new project
  • Import your HDR footage
  • Right-click to inspect your footage and ensure it is HDR (See Screenshot)
  • Color Space should be Rec. 2100 HLG. If it’s Rec. 709, it is not HDR footage
  • Create a new sequence (Drag and drop your footage into the Timeline)
  • Ensure the working color space is set to Rec. 2100 HLG to align with the HDR format

Note: Premiere Pro does not display HDR correctly in the preview window during editing—colors may appear washed out or grey. The true HDR effect will only be visible after export.

Tip: To improve color accuracy while editing, temporarily switch the working color space to Rec. 709. Before exporting, be sure to switch it back to Rec. 2100 HLG to retain HDR in the final output.

Make sure your footage contains HDR information after importing

Exporting HDR Video in Premiere Pro

Make sure your export settings preserve the HDR information. Here’s what worked for us:

  • Format: QuickTime
  • Video Codec: Apple ProRes 422 HQ
  • HDR Graphics White (Nits): 300
  • Depth: 16-bpc

Now you’re ready to export your HDR video. Note: File sizes will be extremely large when exporting ProRes 422 HQ. To reduce the large file size while still preserving the HDR information, follow these steps:

  • Open the file in QuickTime
  • Select File > Export As > 4K
  • Choose Smaller File Size (HEVC) in the dropdown menu
Best Export Settings in Premiere Pro for HDR

Save HDR Photos as HDR Video Clips directly in ProCamera

Making sure your photos display in full HDR like your video footage poses another challenge. Have you tried importing your HDR photos into Premiere, only to see them stripped of the HDR information and look flat compared to your beautiful HDR video footage? To ensure that your HDR photos are recognized as such inside Premiere Pro, you can save your photos as HDR Video Clips directly inside ProCamera to ensure that the HDR information is preserved when importing into Premiere Pro. This is especially useful if you don’t want to make major edits to your photo and need a quick solution. To do this simply:

  • Open your photo in the Editing Studio inside ProCamera
  • Long press the Save button on the top right
  • Select “Save New Image as …”
  • Select HDR VIDEO CLIP

Now you can import this newly saved video clip into your HDR video project inside Premiere Pro for full compatibility. For more information about this, check out this video.

Saving a Photo as an HDR Video Clip in ProCamera

Editing and Exporting HDR Photos in Lightroom

To edit your photos with desktop class editing software, for instance in Lightroom, you’ll need to make sure you properly edit and export them so that your HDR information is preserved.

  • Import your HDR images to Lightroom
  • Activate “HDR” mode (see screenshot)
  • Adjust exposure, contrast, and color settings
  • Export in formats that support HDR: AVIF, JPEG XL, TIF (we used TIF)
Make sure the HDR option is selected before editing in Lightroom

Practical Tips for HDR Video Production

By following these steps and using the advanced features of iPhone 16, ProCamera, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Lightroom, you can create stunning HDR videos that stand out and captivate your audience. HDR is the future of visual content—support is growing and it makes your work stand out with unmatched clarity and dynamic range. Give it a try! Here are a few extra tips to keep in mind:

  • Consistent Lighting: Ensure scenes are well-lit to fully benefit from HDR’s dynamic range
  • Monitor Calibration: Use an HDR-capable monitor during editing
  • Storage Considerations: Use high-capacity storage and backups
  • Stay Updated: Keep apps and firmware updated
  • Check HDR support on the platform you want to upload to

See our Latest Video Production in Full HDR!

If you’ve followed all the steps as outlined above, your video is ready to share with the world in its full HDR glory! Social Media platforms like YouTube will now recognize your video as HDR once uploaded. Keep in mind it might take a day or two for the video to finish processing and appear in HDR. So be patient! Be sure to check out our latest ProCamera video filmed entirely in HDR (with HDR photos too!) on the beautiful island of Crete.

ProCamera v18.3 introduces brand new Duotone photo filters, an upgraded ProTimer intervalometer, and enhanced adaptive HDR support for saving RAW and ProRAW edits

This exciting update brings even more creative flexibility, giving you greater control to capture and refine your shots—so you can bring your unique vision to life

NEW DUOTONE FILTER SET

Unleash your creativity with our bold, vibrant Duotone photo filters—the “DUO” set including 25 handcrafted filters is now available as part of the ProCamera Up feature bundle.

Prefer a softer touch? Easily adjust the intensity of each filter by swiping down to achieve delicate pastel tones. These premium filters transform your photos into striking, eye-catching visuals.

ProCamera's new duotone photo filters
Tip: To quickly access the DUO set in ProCamera’s studio, swipe the list of set names below the thumbnail previews

Unlike traditional filters that adjust hues or tones, Duotone filters transform your images by mapping highlights and shadows to two distinct colors. This creates a striking look that works especially well for portraits, architecture, product shots, and creative compositions.
Whether you’re aiming for a bold graphic aesthetic, a vintage print effect, or a cinematic color scheme, Duotone filters offer a unique way to stylize your photos. Their distinctive look makes them perfect for flyers, album and book covers, editorial imagery, and social media posts – anywhere strong visual impact is key. Experiment with different color pairings and combine them with our other editing tools to create visuals that stand out.

CAPTURE 50,000 PHOTOS WITH PROTIMER

Our ProTimer intervalometer now lets you shoot up to 50,000 photos in a single series – making it an essential tool for creating stunning time-lapses and long-duration projects with precision and ease. Simply dial in your capture settings and start the series; ProCamera will handle the rest, capturing all the photos for you.

How to configure the ProTimer:

  1. Assign the Self-Timer as your Second Shutter
    Open Control Panel > 2nd Shutter > Self-Timer
  2. Tap and hold the Second Shutter button and “Enable ProTimer”
The Second Shutter is the button right next to the Main Shutter button
  3. Dial in your custom capture settings
Pause between shots, number of photos total, delay before the first photo (see screenshot)
  4. Start the capture process
Tap outside the ProTimer window to close it, then tap the Second Shutter button to start capturing

ADAPTIVE HDR SUPPORT

Our editing studio now also supports Adaptive HDR for saving RAW and ProRAW edits.

What does „Adaptive HDR“ mean? It means this feature preserves the full dynamic range while ensuring optimal compatibility with systems that don’t support HDR.

When saving as an 8-bit file, an HDR gain map (at half the resolution of the original) is added to the capture to preserve additional luminance details. In contrast, when saving in 10-bit HEIC HDR, the luminance information is embedded directly into the file at full resolution. Tap and hold the ‘Save’ button in our studio to choose your preferred format from the ‘Save New Image As…’ menu.

New iOS versions and devices require careful adjustments to ensure optimal performance. As always, if you have any questions, suggestions, or encounter a bug, please reach out to us via in-app support or email at support@procamera-app.com.

ProCamera v18.2 introduces powerful new features like Video Pause, Half-Press Lock Options, Custom Launch Settings, and an enhanced Portrait Mode for quicker and better captures

This major ProCamera update puts creative control at your fingertips – just in time for the holiday season!

Pause Video Recording in ProCamera

PAUSE A VIDEO RECORDING

No more piecing together multiple clips: with iOS 18, you can now finally pause and resume video recordings. After you started filming, you will now see a “Pause” button as a new option (see screenshot). After pausing, you can either resume filming by tapping the round record button – or stop and save the clip by tapping the square stop button.

LOCK OPTIONS VIA CAMERA CONTROL

Go beyond basic AE/AF locking with ProCamera’s new feature for the Camera Control. Lock your preferred combination of camera settings with a simple half-press of the Camera button of the iPhone 16 generation.

Lock Options for the Camera Button of the iPhone 16 (Pro)

Lightly double-press the Camera Button on the side of your iPhone to find the new “LOCK” option in the menu. Confirm this option to specify which camera values you want to lock with a half-press. For example, choose the “F/E/WB” option to lock Focus, Exposure and White Balance with a half press; or select “F” to lock only focus while allowing the camera to adjust Exposure and White Balance automatically for each photo.

Tip: Paired with Rapid Fire, ProCamera empowers you to capture a series of perfectly consistent shots via Camera Control — every time.

With a bit of practice, you can half-press to lock your desired settings, fully press the camera button at the right moment to take one or multiple photos, and then return to the half-press to retain the locked values. This allows you to take photos with the same settings whenever interesting subjects appear.

LAUNCH SETTINGS

Introducing Launch Settings because every photographer is unique: Tailor ProCamera to your individual shooting style by configuring how the app launches.
To activate this feature, go to Settings > Launch Settings and save your current camera configuration as the new default. In case you later want to change this start-up configuration, adjust the desired setting(s) on the capture screen, then return to the Launch Settings page to save the new setup as your default. Finding the perfect configuration for you can be an iterative process, so take your time and try different setups. If needed, you can restore the app’s original configuration using the ‘Restore Factory Defaults’ button.

LIGHTBOX IN LOCK SCREEN CAMERA

You can now store photos and videos directly to Lightbox or Private Lightbox when opening ProCamera from the Lock Screen.

Tip: To quickly change the save location right on the capture screen, swipe from the preview thumbnail toward the middle of the screen. A menu will appear, allowing you to switch the save location for your next capture.

Portrait Mode Improvements in ProCamera v18.2

PORTRAIT MODE IMPROVEMENTS

We have improved highlight rendering in portraits with high dynamic range.
Also, on iPhone 15 Pro and newer, you can now use digital zoom and switch lenses more quickly while in Portrait Mode.

New iOS versions and devices require careful adjustments to ensure optimal performance. As always, if you have any questions, suggestions, or encounter a bug, please reach out to us via in-app support or email at support@procamera-app.com.

Unlocking the Power of RAW and AI in Mobile Photography

At ProCamera, we continuously explore the cutting-edge intersections of technology and creativity to enhance the art of photography. Our latest insights delve into the potent combination of RAW photography and AI tools, showcasing how this synergy can unlock new levels of detail and expression in mobile photography.

Flashback: The Advantages of RAW Photography on iPhone

When we introduced RAW photography on the iPhone many years ago, it was a game-changer. Even today, it continues to offer unparalleled flexibility and data richness. The classic (Bayer) RAW format captures images in their purest form.

While we have also integrated the advanced ProRAW file format into ProCamera, which applies sophisticated processing during image capture, this article focuses on the classic, unprocessed RAW format. While ProRAW utilizes computational photography during the capture, AI can offer computational enhancements to classic RAW files post-capture.

Enhancing RAW with AI: A Revolutionary Approach

Our exploration into AI-enhanced editing reveals a new approach to photo enhancement. AI tools provide unprecedented capabilities to refine and elevate RAW images. The enhancements we discuss here are based on sophisticated machine learning techniques that refine and elevate existing content, rather than generating fictitious elements. Integrating modern AI tools in their workflow allows photographers to move beyond traditional editing, crafting images that are both authentic and artistically enhanced.

AI enhanced photo for more detail and texture

This photo we took with Rapid Fire on iPhone 14 Pro in the harsh midday sun was not looking spectacular at first – but after experimenting with AI tools, we were amazed at how this picture can shine after being processed properly.

RAW + AI = Powerful Symbiosis

Ever tried fixing a photo that’s already been through the wringer of processing? In many ways it’s like trying to smooth out a crumpled piece of paper. RAW files, however, offer a neutral starting point, rich in data and highly adaptable to AI enhancements. This powerful symbiosis enables deeper creative exploration and empowers photographers to achieve remarkable results.

Future Prospects: The Evolving Landscape of RAW and AI

The future of photography is bright with the integration of RAW and AI technologies. As advancements continue, the potential to extract and enhance beauty from raw captures will only grow – not only improving brand new photos taken with the latest cameras but also enhancing image quality on older RAW files. Your archive of RAW images is very likely aging like fine wine! The evolving landscape promises amazing possibilities for photographers seeking to push the boundaries of their visuals.

Photography still needs to be human, candid and creative

While the technology discussed here offers remarkable enhancements, it is not intended to replace the camera, the photographer, or the authenticity of photography. We encourage our users to continue capturing candid moments and exploring the world through their lenses. This technology is meant to complement and enhance your creative process, allowing you to bring out the best in every photo you take.

Encouraging Innovation: Embrace RAW and AI

ProCamera invites photographers and enthusiasts to embrace the possibilities offered by RAW and AI. Give it a try and switch to RAW format in ProCamera and experiment with various AI editing tools to discover the full potential of your images. This journey of exploration could redefine your photography.

This major update brings a completely overhauled Lightbox, new options for RAW capture and a universal orientation setting

ProCamera v17.3 introduces Lightbox 2.0, allowing for a very fast and organized professional photo and video workflow

ProCamera Lightbox File Transfer via cable

LIGHTBOX 2.0

The Lightbox is an internal media library inside of ProCamera. This means photos and videos you store in our Lightbox are saved within the app and are not synced with the standard iOS Camera Roll. The now upgraded Lightbox 2.0 allows you to transfer photos and videos with blazing USB speed from your iPhone or iPad to macOS/Windows. This allows you to replicate the workflow professional photographers are accustomed to with their DSLR cameras: Return from a photo shoot and promptly transfer your photos and videos to your computer for post-processing and organizing, continuing your workflow with desktop-class software.

In addition to that, you can access your Lightbox content from any app that integrates with the iOS Files app

You can quickly select the (Private) Lightbox as your save location for your next captures by swiping from the album thumbnail towards the center of the capture screen.

After installing the new app version (v17.3), the Lightbox will automatically start a one-time migration. This upgrade to Lightbox 2.0 is free for all users!

NEW RAW+HEIF OPTION

Due to popular demand, we’ve introduced a new RAW+HEIF file format option. This format combines a standard RAW file with an accompanying HEIF file, which provides higher quality at a smaller file size compared to traditional JPGs. You can find this new combination in the Control Panel alongside the other format options. This dual-format approach offers maximum flexibility: The RAW file allows for extensive editing, while the HEIF file provides a processed photo that looks great right out of the box and is ideal for sharing due to its smaller size.

SAVE RAW + PROCESSED VERSION SEPARATELY

Another workflow improvement, this time for the iOS media library: store RAW and JPEG or RAW and HEIF images as separate entries for easier image management and deletion. The new option shows up under Settings > File Format when RAW+JPG or RAW+HEIF is selected. In our own Lightbox and Private Lightbox files are generally saved as two separate entries.

UNIVERSAL ORIENTATION

The new Auto-Rotate option ensures your photos always have the correct orientation when exporting to other devices and operating systems. When needed, enable it under Settings > File Format > Advanced Settings.

This big update brings Black and White Mode, extended HDR support and Focus Peaking 2.0

We are thrilled that v17.2 introduces a suite of enhancements to elevate your photography to new heights

BW Camera Mode in ProCamera

BLACK AND WHITE MODE

Capture stunning photos in classic black and white! Now you can switch on the black and white live preview in the viewfinder to master exposure and achieve perfect contrasts for your monochrome shots. Go to the second page of the control panel to enable the new BW button on the viewfinder.
Enjoy a 100% non-destructive workflow, giving you the freedom to revert to color or customize the black and white conversion at any time. Along the monochrome photo, ProCamera saves the original color image.

TRUE HDR

Now you can effortlessly export your gain-map HDR photos as ISO-HDR photos in ProCamera’s Editing Studio (10-bit HEIC and 16-bit TIFF formats available).
Although gain-map HDR is best for compatibility, HDR information can be lost when sharing. That’s where ISO-HDR photos come in handy, as they maintain the high dynamic range on all HDR-capable displays.

Click here for background information on HDR

HDR, or High Dynamic Range, is a technology that enhances photo quality by capturing a wider range of light and dark areas, bringing out details that would otherwise be lost. In the past, HDR in camera apps was simulated using tone-mapping, a technique that compresses HDR colors into the smaller SDR color space, which was the only option as displays couldn’t show true HDR.

With the advent of iOS 17, true HDR support has arrived. HDR photos now come in various formats: SDR photos with an embedded HDR gain map for maximum compatibility, in ProRAW or RAW format with high bit depth, or in true HDR formats like 10bit HEIC or 16bit TIFF. These formats allow for extended dynamic range display on HDR-capable devices.

It’s important to note that photos taken in vividHDR camera mode, while capturing a higher dynamic range by merging multiple exposures, are saved in SDR after being tone-mapped and thus are not true HDR.

When viewing HDR photos in ProCamera, you can tell if a photo has HDR information by enabling the EDR button in the photo album. You should see a noticeable difference in the colors and brightness of highlights. Additionally, when exporting photos in the editing studio, you’ll find options to save as ISO-HDR HEIC 10bit and TIFF 16bit.

EXPORT HDR PHOTOS AS HDR VIDEO CLIPS

Ever wanted to seamlessly incorporate HDR photos into your video projects? We understand the frustration when dedicated video editing programs fall short and present your HDR photos too dark and dull. Currently, there is no easy way to import your true HDR photos from your iPhone into video editing software like Adobe Premiere. True ISO-HDR photos simply don’t show up as they still can’t be interpreted. ProCamera comes to the rescue with the ability to export your HDR photos as HDR 10-bit video clips. Easily import these clips into your video project, ensuring your visuals shine with brilliance. This feature is exclusively included in the ProCamera Up feature bundle.
How to export HDR snippets:
Simply open a HDR photo in our editing studio, tap and hold the “Save” button, and select the game-changing “HDR Video Clip” option.

Focus Peaking with ProCamera's Focus Loupe

FOCUS PEAKING 2.0

Precision meets efficiency with our revamped Focus Peaking for spot-on manual focus! The peaking highlights areas of your scene that are currently in focus when manually adjusting focus distance via swipe gesture. What’s more, we’ve drastically optimized battery usage and the Focus Loupe has received enhancements for greater accuracy.
And for all ProCamera Up users, we’re excited to introduce an exclusive upgrade – the innovative Dual Color peaking feature. It’s designed to guide you more intuitively towards achieving the perfect focus setting, adding another layer of precision to your photography toolkit.
