Thanks for the feedback – glad you enjoy using ProCamera!
Once a blog post about an update is available, the new app version will also be available in the App Store on your device. The new Rapid Fire mode got noticeably faster, maybe even fast enough to capture your daughter 😉 Regarding the focus aid, that is something we might look into at some point, and therefore it is always interesting to hear from users about their suggestions. Enjoy ProCamera 🙂

There is no way to bypass the lock screen or password/touch ID input, since it could grant unauthorized users access to your files, if they get hold of your device.
However, a very quick way to open ProCamera is the Notification Center. Instead of swiping to the left (= opening iOS Camera), you can swipe to the right side from the Lock Screen to see a list of widgets. We offer a special ProCamera widget. It displays the first 5 camera modes and with a simple tap, you start the app in this exact camera mode. If you know you want to record a video for example, directly launch ProCamera in Video mode…
You can also open the Notification Center (resp. access the Widgets) from any other application by swiping down from the top of the screen. Widgets are added by tapping the “Edit” button at the bottom. Enjoy ProCamera

We would love to help! Seems like HDR Auto Save is activated on your device – this means the capture is saved right away without showing the preview screen and the different HDR presets. If HDR Auto Save is activated, a LDR (non-HDR) photo is saved plus one HDR photo using the preset selected in the Control Panel (three line icon bottom right).

If you want to preview the presets before saving and also want to have the option to save multiple HDR versions of one capture at once, de-activate HDR Auto-Save: Open the Control Panel (three line icon bottom right) > Settings > HDR Settings > Auto Save: Off. It’s nice to preview the HDR presets before saving, so you can have a feel for the look it will generate in your specific scene. Did that work for you?

That’s interesting. I tried it with RAW files from an iPhone 7 Plus and the newest version of Lightroom CC and did not have any problems. Since we create standard .DNG RAW files, a format developed by Adobe, the import should work as usual. Maybe you can get in contact with the Adobe LR support team?
Did you take photos in RAW+JPG or RAW only mode? Did you use the most recent ProCamera version to capture the RAW files?

System sounds like the click of the shutter can be muted with the hardware mute switch on your iPhone. The only exceptions are devices sold in countries like Japan, where a shutter sound is mandatory.

My wife is pleased as she now isn’t always hanging around waiting as I set up shots. ProCamera is an excellent software and will become even more popular when mobile phone users realise its full potential.

I have Lightroom and iPhone 7 plus and LR will not import the RAW images in any case so I have not gained very much with the new phone. I don’t know if it is the fault of Lightroom or Procamera
